Awarded Great Tastes’ ‘2016 Small Artisan Producer of the Year’, we’ve kept our London rooftop bees four floors above busy Bermondsey Street since 2007. They forage on neighbouring roof terraces as well as treetops, parks, allotments and gardens. Covering a 2 – 3 mile radius from the hives, they gather pollen and nectar from both native species and some unexpected exotics, transforming it into the award-winning Bermondsey Street Honey.
In 2012, we set up our Suffolk Coastal apiary. Our country bees have very different forage, from crops such as rape and field beans to wild flowers and hedgerow brambles. The honey they make has a quintessentially English country taste.
2015 saw us adding Union and Metro ‘Guest Honeys’ to our range, sourcing limited production honeys from urban and rural artisan beekeepers across England. Like us they are passionate about healthy hives and wonderful raw honey. More >
